50 years ago, my mum marched through the streets of Oslo on International Women's Day 🌍✊

It was 1975 — the UN's International Women's Year — and women across the world were making their voices heard. She was one of them and she came home with a symbol that meant everything: the UN emblem, worn as a badge.

My mum passed away in 2012 and I've spent the last months turning that symbol into a pendant — something I can wear close to my heart, something to remember her fighting spirit by.
