Bespoke handmade jewellery

Skjærgården

Skjærgården is my first collection of rings. Skjærgården is the Norwegian word for small islands spread out along a coast. I grew up in Norway, and when I was young we would rent a summer house by the Oslo fjord. We always had a morning swim during our holidays, and we used to sit on the rocks in the sun to dry before breakfast.

I used to hate the cold water, and the morning swim was something I never really looked forward to. It always fascinated me, but I felt more at home in a boat cruising among the islands. Now I live by the sea in Brighton and last year I decided to explore open water swimming. I have been swimming for a year now and have fallen in love with the sea and the cold water.

I love the movement of it and the ripples on the top of the surface. It is always so inviting even if it's really cold.

I wanted to transfer this feeling into a ring and that's how this collection happen. Its a little piece of the sea on your hand.

All my rings are made from 925 sterling silver and are either 0.5mm or 1mm thick. The textures are all handmade.

Blomst collection

Blomst

This is my next collection of rings. When I was little I was obsessed with flowers. Blomst means flower in Norwegian. I used to take forever on the walk with my mum because I had to stop and smell every flower I could find. Im sure I drove my poor mother mad. I still love them now and happiest when I can get out in nature and pick something. I love the way flowers are so individual but also have all the same bits to them. They look beautiful when they are new and sometimes even more beautiful when they wilt.

All the rings are made of 925 sterling silver and some have perspex sheets assed to them too.
